We are delighted to invite you to our online IN FOCUS event aimed at teachers of Primary pupils that will take place on Wednesday, 28 April from 6 to 7.30pm.
Donna Shaw and Mark Ormerod, authors of Kids Can!, teachers and teacher trainers, will demonstrate different ways to help students become more confident, build their self esteem, manage stress and become more resilient, open minded, communicative and collaborative.

Mark Ormerod: Mark is an EFL teacher specialising in Primary education. He is interested in using drama and mini dialogues to develop children‚Äôs confidence and language skills. Mark was Head of Macmillan Education‚Äôs Teacher Training Department from 2001 to 2005. He has subsequently gone on to write teaching resources for Macmillan. He is co author of the Macmillan Education Primary courses Kids Can! Find Out!, Tiger and Heroes. He has also written several of Macmillan‚Äôs Children‚Äôs Readers, as well as the holiday workbook series, Holiday World.
Donna Shaw: Donna is a teacher and materials writer for Primary age pupils. Committed to teaching and with a keen interest in educational issues, she is also undertaking a part-time doctorate, researching creativity in the Primary ELT classroom. Donna is the co-author of a number of ELT Primary courses for¬†Macmillan Education, including¬†Kids Can!,¬†New High Five!,¬†Heroes¬†and¬†Footprints.
