Catering for Diversity in the Classroom

The well-known multiple intelligences theory is just a starting point to explore infinite possibilities of techniques that help us promote students’ autonomy in learning. In this session we will examine a series of practical solutions to maximise every student’s achievement.


Matthew is a full-time professor at the Cardenal Cisneros University, but he also teaches at the British Council and Instituto Franklin. He specialises in bilingual education, learner training and developing speaking skills. He was responsible for the organisation and coordination of the Bilingual Campus, in-depth CLIL training and linguistic immersion programme. Matthew is also a regular conference speaker at events focusing on language learning and CLIL.
