Adobe and Google will no longer be supporting Flash Player after December 31, 2020 so our digital courses based in Flash will stop working on the majority of devices.

The decision to drop Flash support has been taken by Adobe and Google as well as other large technology companies and is nothing to do with Macmillan Education. However, to provide continuity for our customers, we would like to provide you with some alternatives:

Digital courses: online version

For those of you who want to continue accessing the digital courses online, we are providing a portable version of the Chrome browser that will continue to support our content. Please download the browser here and invite your students to do the same, so that they can access the content as well.

To use the portable browser: Unzip the file and click on the Chrome icon to run the browser. Please note that you might need admin rights in order to do so.

If you have questions or need additional support, please contact us here.

Digital courses: offline version adobe air

Alternatively, teachers can also download the offline version of our most used courses: Bugs World (levels 5-6) and Quest (levels 1-6). These offline are based in Adobe Air, so they don’t have any Flash dependencies.  Click on a course title to download the offline version of the digital course. You will need to install Adobe Air, which can be downloaded for free here: WINDOWS, MAC.

Please note that by using this version, you will not be able to track the student‚Äôs progress, as this is a projectable¬†¬ęlightweight¬Ľ version developed to support teachers after the Flash shutdown.
