By helping children track their own progress and recognise their achievements, we build the resilience to keep trying. Throughout the session, we’ll share practical classroom ideas that develop pupil confidence and boost participation.

Feeling good? You should! English teachers and their amazing superpowers

English teachers are always so busy with day-to-day concerns that we often lose sight of the bigger picture. In this light-hearted, uplifting session my aim will be to remind you all of just how important our profession is, and to remind you of the many unique strengths, superpowers, and super skills English teachers possess, but that we (and others) sometimes forget, or take for granted. My ultimate aim? For you to walk out of the session feeling great to be an English teacher!

With ready-to-use classroom ideas and hands-on activities, we can help every student express themselves confidently in English.

The Exam Preparation Journey: Building Skills, Confidence and Independence

This practical workshop introduces a patchwork approach to exam preparation for B1, B2 and C1. Participants will explore how adaptable activities can be scaffolded and strategically combined to create a coherent, skills-focused learning journey. Participants will gain insight into how exam preparation can remain inclusive in mixed-ability classrooms while fostering learner agency, autonomy and confidence. This session offers realistic, classroom-ready ideas that balance exam demands with inclusion and learner independence.
