Incorporate this simple and effective tool into your classroom activities!
Have fun with the following proposed activities and teach pupils about healthy eating, improve their memory and recognition skills, and even help them develop teamwork and communication abilities.
Game 1: Guess the fruit.
Have one pupil pick a card without showing it to the class. The child will describe the fruit on the card, and the others will try to guess what it is.
The child can describe the color, shape, taste, or texture of the item. The rest of the class takes turns guessing. After the guess is made, reveal the card to see if they were correct!
- Skills: Descriptive language, communication, memory.
Game 2: Fruit memory game.
Print 2 sets of cards. Create pairs of fruit cards and lay them face down on the table. Pupils take turns flipping over two cards at a time, trying to match the pairs.
Each player flips two cards. If they match, they keep the cards. If not, they turn them back over, and the next pupil has a turn. The pupil with the most matches at the end wins!
