Stories, visual, oral and written, have been a part of human interaction for thousands of years. You could say that we as humans are perfectly programmed to use and process stories as a means of communication, entertainment and even for passing on information. For this reason, storytelling in the young learner classroom is a perfect gateway into language learning. What better way to engage young learners and improve not only their grammar and vocabulary, but also their 21st Century Skills? In this webinar we will look at the theory behind storytelling in the language classroom and pair this with practical tasks that you can take back to your learners.
